Trip Overview
Phulchoki is the best choice for a half or full-day birding tour in Kathmandu valley where more than 310 different species of bird is recorded and this birding tour is about one hour drive to the south-east from Thamel, Kathmandu. actually, Phulchoki hill means hill of flowers where you can see different types of flowers blooming specially in spring.
besides the birding, you will also have beautiful views of the Kathmandu Valley, spectacular mountain views and hiking through beautiful forest helps to heal your body instead of staying in a crowded city. The view from the top of Phulchoki is really fantastic in clear weather because, Phulchoki is the highest mountain near Kathmandu valley which is 2780m from sea level.

Day 01
Bird Watching in Phulchoki, Kathmandu
Drive from Hotel to Phulchoki and birding as per planed then drive back to hotel as per half-day (4 hours) or full-day (maximum 8 hours) time.
