Trip Overview
The 11 day Everest view trekking itinerary has been specially designed to experience the lower part of the Everest region, Sherpa culture, the beautiful mountain range with Mt Everest, the highest mountain in the world. But this short and sweet trekking itinerary is recommendable for those who especially want to do a short and easy trek during the low season (December-February) specially in Christ max and New Year holiday trek with their family and friends in the Everest region. because during the peak trekking season most Lukla flights operate from Manthali/Ramechhap.
The 11-day Everest View Trek cost, including the Kathmandu-Lukla-Kathmandu flight, is just USD 1160 to USD 1600 per person, which depends on the number of people booked for the trek and service included during the trek. Everest view trek costs normally include most of the services from Kathmandu airport transfer to your hotel on arrival, and Kathmandu - Lukla - Kathmandu flight cost, lodge and foods during the trek, guide and porter, National Park fee, Khumbu local permit fee.

Itineraries
Day 01
Arrival in Kathmandu
A representative from Guide for Nepal Pvt Ltd will heartily welcome to you in Tribhuvan international (TIA) airport 1370 meter from sea level in any time of your arrival and help you transfer to hotel at Thamel. Kathmandu is capital city of Nepal and it is normally busy during the day. It is about 15-25 minutes’ drive from airport to Thamel. It depends on your arrival time and traffic. You might have short time to visit some place in Kathmandu and final preparation for Trip from next day.
Day 2
Kathmandu – Lukla - Phakding 2652m
Make sure to wake up and be ready on time to check in at Kathmandu domestic airport for your flight to Lukla 2805 meters. The Kathmandu to Lukla flight is about 30-35 minutes, and we will meet our assistant/porter in Lukla, then start the trek to Phakding 2652 meters. Lukla to Phakding is a very short and easy trek. It takes 3–4 hours to walk through Sherpa village, following the Dudhkoshi river (Milky River) and enjoying the mountain scenery.
Day 3
Phakding to Namche Bazar 3440m
After breakfast in the lodge, the trek starts by following the Dudhkoshi river (Milky River), crossing the suspension bridge a few times above Dudhkoshi river. Manzu is the entry gate of Sagarmatha National Park. When you enter Sagarmatha make sure to follow the rules and regulations of the national park while you trek inside the national park. Jorsalle is the best and last option for lunch break. Phakding to Namche bazar is about 5–6 hours. The trail is gradual, and it is quite steps uphill after crossing Hillary Bridge. Namche bazaar is situated at 3440 meters. Explore Namche bazar if you reach there in the early afternoon.
Day 4
Acclimatization day in Namche Bazar
Today is acclimatization day, take a hot breakfast and be ready for a short hike to Everest view point or all the way to Everest view hotel and back to Namche bazar for lunch. After lunch, you can take a rest and explore around Namche bazar in the afternoon. There are some nice bakeries, an ATM, a mountain equipment store and other shops. So, you have a last chance to buy some mountain equipment for your trek in case you forgot in Kathmandu.
Day 5
Namche to Thame village 3800m
After breakfast in your lodge, the trek starts gradually towards Thame Valley, passing some pine and rhododendron forest where you will have a chance to see Himalayan monal, blood pheasant, musk deer, Himalayan Thar and when you reach Thamu village you probably make tea break and interested person can visit monastery if it is open. Thamu to Thame village is another 2–3 hours. You can visit Thame monastery just above Thame village in the afternoon. Approximately the time from Namche to Thame 3800 meters is 5–6 hours, and it is about 400 meters ascents.
Day 6
Thame to Khumjung Village 3860m
Thame To Khumjung 3860 is about 5 hours same way back, just one hour before Namche, then take left towards Syangbuche airport, continue uphill to the top just before walking down to Khum village. There is one old monastery with yeti skull, Hillarey school and Khumjung is the biggest village in the Khumbu region.
Day 7
Khumjung to Monjo 2800m
There is few different way you can choose from khumjung to namche bazar walking throw everest view hotel, walking throw normal trail to namche bazar or walking throw kyanjuma to namche bazar. you might take more time up there for nicer views then coffee break or lunch break at Namche bazar before trek down to Monjo 2800m. it is normally 4-5 hours trek from khumjung to Monjo mostly descending.
Day 8
Monjo to Lukla 2805m
Today is the last day of the Everest view trek. After breakfast, as usual in the lodge, we start the trek from Monzo to Lukla 2805 meters, roughly 5–6 hours walking the same way back through Phaking. It is your last chance to see/treat/tip/goodbye to your assistant/porter as you like
Day 9
Lukla – Kathmandu 1370m
Lukla – Kathmandu flights start normally after 7 AM in the morning. Finish packing and be ready for breakfast on time as mentioned by your guide last night. The Lukla to Kathmandu flight is 30-35 minutes.
Day 10
Free day in Kathmandu
Today there is not a proper plan in the program. You can do some activities in Kathmandu at extra cost or on your own. Otherwise, shopping/free/extra day or in case of bad weather to fly out/in Kathmandu.
Day 11
Back to home
If your flight time is late afternoon or evening, you can visit some place in Kathmandu your own or if you need help, we can provide guide and vehicle on extra charge. Otherwise, be ready at hotel on time as per your flight details to catch international flight. A Representative from Guide for Nepal Pvt Ltd will arrange transportation and drop you in Tribhuvan international (TIA) airport and good bye for this time wishing safe journey back to home.

Everest view trek very easy compare to other treks.
The highest altitude in Everest view trek is just below three thousands nine hundred meters.
Normally, 5-7 hours walk every day in trek.
Normal twin bed room with common/attached toilet bath.
There is no snow all the time.
early October to end of May is the best time to do Everest view trek?
Everest view trek is worth for view. You can see mt Everest from closer distance within a week.
Useful Information:
- Read about area where you are trekking soon.
- Read about weather forecast.
- Read about culture, religion.
- Make sure are you physically fit for trek/tour.
- Double check all the trekking equipment before you start trek.
- Make sure all gadget is ready/full charged and well dress before start birding tour.
- If you have brand new trekking boots, use at least few times before trek.
- Check your flight ticket, trekking permit and other necessary documents before start trek.
- Read and be clear with your program in details before you start your tour.
- Better ask permission before taking photograph of someone during the tour.
- Better not encourage street dog to follow you/group by giving food.
- Better not encourage children to beg by giving money/candy.
- Respect local culture.
- Listen your tour Guide.
- Follow rule and regulations while you are trekking in national park/conservation area.
- Eat and drink properly, stay hydrated, read your body and listen AMS alerts while you are in the mountain/trekking.
- Check your Guide and porter are also fit and fine or not.
