Seven days are probably the shortest itinerary of the ABC or the Annapurna base camp trek even offers a golden chance to see above eight-thousand-meter mountain very close to a week from your country and also witness your stunning views of the whole Annapurna range, fishtail, Lamjung, Manaslu Range, Gurung culture, local village life and daily activities.

March to May in spring and October to December in Autumn are the best times to do the Annapurna base camp trek, even though people go all year. Lodges are kept open whole year along the Annapurna base camp trekking route unless there is not too much snow in the winter.

Most shortest 7-day ABC or Annapurna base camp trekking package costs USD 785 to USD 1290, depending on the number of people booked for the trek. Itineraries

Day 01

Arrival in Kathmandu

A representative from Guide for Nepal Pvt Ltd will heartly welcome to you in Tribhuvan international (TIA) airport 1370 meter from sea level in any time of your arrival and help you transfer to hotel at Thamel. Kathmandu is capital city of Nepal and it is normally busy during the day. It is about 15-25 minutes’ drive from airport to Thamel. It depends on your arrival time and traffic. You might have some time to explore Thamel or visit some important place in Kathmandu city and final preparation for Trekking from next day.

Day 02

Kathmandu - Pokhara - Sinuwa

After your breakfast at hotel, you will have 25 minutes morning flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara enjoying mountain view. after we land in Pokhara airport we will take local jeep drive to jhinu about 3-4 hours then start Trek to sinuwa 2330-meter crossing one of the longest suspension bridge before jhinu and continue step up to chhomrong, after chhomrong village trail down to cross small bridge and uphill again to reach sinuwa for overnight at mountain lodge. It is almost 800-meter ascent and some few hundred-meter descent. Lunch break will be on the way in suitable time.

Day 3

Sinuwa - Deurali

Trek from sinuwa starts after breakfast in your lodge. it is about 6-7 hours from sinuwa to Deurali 3330m walking throw some mixed and bamboo forest passing bamboo – Dovan – Himalaya where you might make tea break and lunch break in suitable place. The trail from sinuwa to Deurali is quite narrow and step up and down nearby modi khola most of the time and it is almost 1100-meter ascent in total.

Day 4

Deurali - Annapurna Base Camp (ABC)

Trek from Deurali to Annapurna base camp 4130-meter is about 5 - 6 hours including tea/lunch break in Machhapuchhre base camp. The trail is gradually uphill all the way to Annapurna base camp ascending 800 meter. Hole day you will have chance to see almost 360-degree view. The best views start from machhapuchhre base camp. Normally mountains weather is not very stay able and change quite fast. So better to start and reach your destination on good time, eat and drink properly, stay warm and hydrated. Sunset view of fishtail is absolutely nice in clear weather.

Day 5

Annapurna base camp (ABC) to Bamboo

This morning everybody wake up before sunrise and wait to see first sun shine on top of Annapurna one and other mountains. After that people will be busy to take individual and group photo then back to lodge for breakfast. After breakfast and final packing your luggage, trek start down to Dovan 2320-meter 6-7 hours Descending about 1800 meter.

Day 6

Bamboo - Jhinu - Pokhara

Today, you can Trek back to jhinu and then take local jeep drive to Pokhara. explore lake side, Pokhara in the afternoon/evening and enjoy your last day trek with your team members.

Day 7

Pokhara - Kathmandu - Departure

Take early flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu and spend few hours in thamel as per your international flight. you can share room in thamel for rest and fresh if there is few hours time left to catch international flight. A Representative from Guide for Nepal Pvt Ltd will arrange transportation and drop you in Tribhuvan international (TIA) airport and good bye for this time wishing safe journey back to your country.
