Trip Overview
Annapurna base camp trek also known as ABC trek is one of the most popular trekking in Nepal. Annapurna base camp trek take you to see above eight-Thousand-meter Mountain very close distance within a week and offers you attractive view of Annapurna range and other peak.
March to May in spring season and October to December in Autumn season is the best time to do Annapurna base camp trek.
Annapurna Base Camp or ABC Trek 13 Days cost start from USD 950 to USD 1,540 per person depending on the numbers of pax booked and other services. Kathmandu to Pokhara road distance is 200 km. but, it takes six to eight hours by tourist bus and six to seven hours by private vehicle. flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara is just twenty-five minutes.
Below is our day to day Itinerary of the Annapurna Base Camp Trek 13 days.
Itineraries
Day 01

Arrival in Kathmandu
A representative from Guide for Nepal Pvt. Ltd. will heartily welcome to you in Tribhuvan international (TIA) airport 1370 meter from sea level in any time of your arrival and help you transfer to hotel at Thamel. Kathmandu is capital city of Nepal and it is normally busy during the day. It is about 15-25 minutes’ drive from airport to Thamel. It depends on your arrival time and traffic. You might have some time to explore Thamel or visit some important place in Kathmandu city and final preparation for Trekking from next day.
Day 02

Kathmandu to Pokhara
After breakfast in your hotel, you will start your journey to Pokhara 820 meter as per planned. It takes about 6-8 hours by tourist bus or private vehicle to reach Pokhara. It depends on road condition and traffic even Kathmandu to Pokhara is just 200 km far in road distance. all the tourist buses leave at 7 am from near Thamel. Flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara takes about 25 minutes and flight is available from 8:30 AM onwards hole day by few different domestic airlines. We have designed this program taking plane for time saving, comfort journey and especially beautiful scenery from plan. Pokhara is one of the most popular touristic places in Nepal. There are some nice places to visit in Pokhara if you have a free time. Panoramic view of hole Annapurna range, fishtail, Lamjung Himal is visible from your hotel at lakeside.
Day 3

Pokhara to Ulleri Village
After your breakfast at hotel, guide will arrange private jeep/car and Drive to Nayapul about one and half hours then Trek to Ulleri village 1960-meter 6/7 hours. Trek from Nayapul to ulleri walk throw local village following bhurundi khola after crossing modi khola and Annapurna conservation area check post at birethati. You can make your lunch break somewhere on the way.
Day 4

Ulleri Village to Ghorepani
Trek starts after breakfast as usual and from Ulleri village to Ghorepani 2860-meter walking 4-5 hours passing Banthati then walking throw mixed and rhododendron forest. Most of the trail is some step up and gradually uphill all the way to Ghorepani about 900-meter ascent in total.
Day 5

Ghorepani – Poon hill - Tadapani
Today you have to wake up early morning to see sunrise view and mountains view from poon hill 3210 meter. It takes 45 minutes to 1 hours all the way steps up to poon hill from ghorepani. After poon hill you back to hotel for breakfast and packing bag then trek to Tadapani 2630-meter walking 5-6 hours some ascending and descending throw mixed, rhododendron forest in step narrow trail.
Day 6

Tadapani to Sinuwa
Trek starts normally 7-8 AM after breakfast going downhill from Tadapani throw some Rhododendron Forest and Chuile village till cross the suspension bridge in the bottom of Chuile village. Then trek continue towards Sinuwa 2230-meter. It might take 6-8 hours in total passing Gurjung village and Chhomrong village. Lunch break might be at Chhomrong village or anywhere before as suitable time.
Day 7

Sinuwa to Deurali
Trek from Sinuwa starts after breakfast in your lodge. it is about 6-7 hours from sinuwa to Deurali 3330m walking throw some mixed and bamboo forest passing bamboo – Dovan – Himalaya where you might make tea break and lunch break in suitable place. The trail from sinuwa to Deurali is quite narrow and step up and down nearby modi khola most of the time and it is almost 1100-meter ascent in total.
Day 8

Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC)
Trek from Deurali to Annapurna base camp 4130-meter is about 5 - 6 hours including tea/lunch break in Machhapuchhre base camp. The trail is gradually uphill all the way to Annapurna base camp ascending 800 meter. Hole day you will have chance to see almost 360-degree view. The best views start from machhapuchhre base camp. Normally mountains weather is not very stay able and change quite fast. So better to start and reach your destination on good time, eat and drink properly, stay warm and hydrated. Sunset view of fishtail is absolutely nice in clear weather.
Day 9

Annapurna base camp (ABC) to Dovan
This morning everybody wake up before sunrise and wait to see first sun shine on top of Annapurna one and other mountains. After that people will be busy to take individual and group photo then back to lodge for breakfast. After breakfast and final packing your luggage, trek start down to Dovan 2600-meter 5-6 hours Descending about 1500 meter.
Day 10

Dovan to Chhomrong
Today you can have your breakfast by 7-8 AM and Trek to chhomrong 2170-meter walking 5-6 hours throw some bamboo forest and mixed forest. Today’s trail is quite narrow, steps up and down hill. It is about 500-meter descent in total and ascent few hundred meter as well.
Day 11

Chhomrong to Pokhara
This morning you will have another good chance to see Annapurna south and Hiuchuli from close distance in good weather. After breakfast as usual you will trek about 2 hours down to Mathkyu (jeep station) almost 600-meter descent and drive back to Pokhara by private local jeep for 3-4 hours in total. You will be free to explore lakeside in afternoon/evening and dinner with Guide or your own.
Day 12

Pokhara to Kathmandu
You can have breakfast as program and be ready to back Kathmandu on time as per planned, drive 6-8 hours or fly 25 minutes.
Day 13

Back to home
If your flight time is late afternoon or evening, you can visit some place in Kathmandu your own or if you need help, we can provide guide and vehicle on extra charge. Otherwise, be ready at hotel on time as per your flight details to catch international flight. A Representative from Guide for Nepal Pvt Ltd will arrange transportation and drop you in Tribhuvan international (TIA) airport and good bye for this time wishing safe journey back to home.

Annapurna base camp trek is medium hard.
The highest altitude in Annapurna base camp trek is 4130 meters.
Normally, 5-7 hours walk every day in trek.
Mostly twin bed room with common toilet, few place is sharing room.
There is no snow all the time.
March to May and October to December is the best time to go Annapurna base camp trek.
Annapurna base camp is worth for view.
Useful Information:

- Better not encourage street dog to follow you/group by giving food.
- Better not encourage children to beg by giving money/candy.

- Listen your tour Guide.
- Follow rule and regulations while you are trekking in national park/conservation area.
- Eat and drink properly, stay hydrated, read your body and listen AMS alerts while you are in the mountain/trekking.
