This is the only one trek that you will have a chance to see above eight-Thousand-meter Mountain very close within a week. March to May and October to December it the best time to do Annapurna base camp trek, even people are going all round the year. because, Hotel and lodge are keeping open whole year in Annapurna base camp trek and we need minimum 10 days to complete Annapurna base camp trek from Kathmandu to Kathmandu.

Itineraries

Day 01

Arrival in Kathmandu

A representative from Guide for Nepal Pvt Ltd will heartly welcome to you in Tribhuvan international (TIA) airport 1370 meter from sea level in any time of your arrival and help you transfer to hotel at Thamel. Kathmandu is capital city of Nepal and it is normally busy during the day. It is about 15-25 minutes’ drive from airport to Thamel. It depends on your arrival time and traffic. You might have some time to explore Thamel or visit some important place in Kathmandu city and final preparation for Trekking from next day.

Day 02

Kathmandu to Pokhara

After breakfast in your hotel, you will start your journey to Pokhara 820 meter as per planned. It takes about 6-8 hours by tourist bus or private vehicle to reach Pokhara. It depends on road condition and traffic even Kathmandu to Pokhara is just 200 km far in road distance. all the tourist bus leave at 7 am from near Thamel. Flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara takes about 25 minutes and flight is available from 8:30 AM onwards hole day by few different domestic airlines. Pokhara is one of the most popular touristic places in Nepal. There are some nice places to visit in Pokhara if you have a free time. Panoramic view of hole Annapurna range, fishtail, Lamjung Himal is visible from your hotel at lakeside.

Day 3

Pokhara to Sinuwa

After your breakfast at hotel, guide will arrange private jeep and Drive to Mathkyu about 3-4 hours then start Trek to sinuwa 2330-meter crossing long suspension bridge before jhinu and continue step up to chhomrong, after chhomrong village trail down to cross small bridge and uphill again to reach sinuwa for overnight at mountain lodge. It is almost 800-meter ascent and some few hundred-meter descent. Lunch break will be on the way in suitable time.

Day 4

Sinuwa to Deurali

Trek from sinuwa starts after breakfast in your lodge. it is about 6-7 hours from sinuwa to Deurali 3330m walking throw some mixed and bamboo forest passing bamboo – Dovan – Himalaya where you might make tea break and lunch break in suitable place. The trail from sinuwa to Deurali is quite narrow and step up and down nearby modi khola most of the time and it is almost 1100-meter ascent in total.

Day 5

Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC)

Trek from Deurali to Annapurna base camp 4130-meter is about 5 - 6 hours including tea/lunch break in Machhapuchhre base camp. The trail is gradually uphill all the way to Annapurna base camp ascending 800 meter. Hole day you will have chance to see almost 360-degree view. The best views start from machhapuchhre base camp. Normally mountains weather is not very stay able and change quite fast. So better to start and reach your destination on good time, eat and drink properly, stay warm and hydrated. Sunset view of fishtail is absolutely nice in clear weather.

Day 6

Annapurna base camp (ABC) to Dovan

This morning everybody wake up before sunrise and wait to see first sun shine on top of Annapurna one and other mountains. After that people will be busy to take individual and group photo then back to lodge for breakfast. After breakfast and final packing your luggage, trek start down to Dovan 2600-meter 5-6 hours Descending about 1500 meter.

Day 7

Dovan to Chhomrong

Today you can have your breakfast by 7-8 AM and Trek to chhomrong 2170-meter walking 5-6 hours throw some bamboo forest and mixed forest. Today’s trail is quite narrow, steps up and down hill. It is about 500-meter descent in total and ascent few hundred meter as well.

Day 8

Chhomrong to Pokhara

This morning you will have another good chance to see Annapurna south and Hiuchuli from close distance in good weather. After breakfast as usual you will trek about 2 hours down to Mathkyu (jeep station) almost 600-meter descent and drive back to Pokhara by private local jeep for 3-4 hours in total. You will be free to explore lakeside in afternoon/evening and dinner with Guide or your own.

Day 9

Pokhara to Kathmandu

You can have breakfast as program and be ready to back Kathmandu on time as per planned, drive 6-8 hours or fly 25 minutes.

Day 10

Back to home

If your flight time is late afternoon or evening, you can visit some place in Kathmandu your own or if you need help, we can provide guide and vehicle on extra charge. Otherwise, be ready at hotel on time as per your flight details to catch international flight. A Representative from Guide for Nepal Pvt Ltd will arrange transportation and drop you in Tribhuvan international (TIA) airport and good bye for this time wishing safe journey back to home.
